John Bowie really sets the scene with things to come right from the first page. This book is filled with gritty characters and great descriptions giving you the visuals in your head as you read deeper into his world. By the end of the book I could’ve sworn I was in my own Weston Super Nightmare joining Jimi’s gang.

John Bowie has been a fantastic inspiration to me personally. Weston and the entire Viking series are probably the closest thing I’ve found to my own work. That isn’t to say that my writing is anything on the scale of Bowie. An extremely talented writer and champion of the indie community. John’s work at Bristol Noir has given a platform to endless amounts of emerging writers. Weston was the first one of Bowie’s books that I read and had me hooked for the Viking series. We will definitely be including one from that series at a later date. Weston can work as a standalone novel but we highly recommended that you include Weston alongside the Viking series due to the connection.
