The time is nearly upon us to get ready to announce the release date for Anthony Neil Smith’s MURDERAPOLIS.

When this one arrived in our submission box I have to admit that we might have got a little excited. Yes, I did indeed experience what can only be described as a literature semi. Anyone who has spent even the briefest time in the indie writing community will know this name as one of the true greats who has climbed to the summit of the independent lit world and one that packs a punch. A true powerhouse of the crime and noir genre. Fans of Smith’s will be rewarded with more of this writer’s definitive style and those who haven’t discovered him yet will no doubt join those.

This gritty noir epic delivers like teeth grinding on sandpaper. Following a Somali high school teacher in the US who takes the fight to the drug peddling gangs who infiltrate his hallways, MURDERAPOLIS returns a twisted justice and thrilling ride. Sections of the plot will leave the reader feeling physical reaction as Smith perfectly executes a language and theme too familiar to realism. You’re in for a treat.
