Misnomer
Kenneth M. Gray
Chuck caught his reflection in the mirror.
At least the blood wasn’t his this time.
He exited the bathroom and stepped up to the bar.
He slid some government goon’s arm aside and helped himself to their whiskey and pack of smokes.
Chuck maneuvered through the bodies toward the Utopia’s double doors.
He kicked a jackboot out of his way, lit a cig and swung the doors open. He surveyed the war-pocked streets. Government drones whirred overhead in a barely visible sky.
Chuck exhaled, adding more smoke to the air.
Who in hell names their bar Utopia in this rat hole of a city?
