We set out to publish 5 books in 12 months and we have smashed it! Urban Pigs Press can’t be prouder and more grateful to the brilliant authors who picked us to represent their work. Thank you!

I always thought that 5 worked best so that we could give the time and care each one deserved and not to over saturate prints for sales. The next year will be mainly focused on promoting these beautiful beasties! We do have a few personal projects we are planning to put out over the coming months – I mean why not? It’s easy to forget we’re writers too with the workload – and we also have some very exciting news to reveal soon.

We hope to announce a new general submissions window later in 2026. But fear not, the upcoming announcement and calls for the zine will provide more than enough opportunities for us to continue showcasing indie talent.

Huge thanks to all of those who have designed covers, Cody Sexton, Jo Andrews and Chris Keeble.

And of course, all of our authors. Sebastian Vice, A.J. Stanton, Anthony Neil Smith, Colin Gee and our very own Virginia Betts.
